Bilingual Helpdesk Analyst (French, German, Spanish)
Salary range: Permanent - £22,000- £25,000 p.a. + Bonus + Benefits Package

We are seeking a self motivated person who has an aptitude/enthusiasm for solving problems and has good communication skills in English, and either German, Spanish or French as a second language. The role entails remote and onsite support for Desktops, printers, mobiles and hand held devices.
All Desktops run Windows XP/Vista/Windows7 and Outlook 2007 mail client. You will be working together with 8 Helpdesk analysts and the Helpdesk Manager spread across Europe, the US and Asia. You will be responsible for 1st and 2nd line support for all PC, mobile issues within the UK, but also in Europe and the rest of the World. You will be based in Central London, working with a senior support analyst.
Main tasks:
Provide remote, and local support as mentioned above Backup the Senior Desktop Analysts during absencesIncident recording and classification. Maintain the configuration database. Maintain the devices store room and inventory. Support users with a wide variety of technical issues and requests
Skills required:
Knowledge of all Windows Desktop OS. Knowledge of MS Office 2007 and 2010 BlackBerry and Iphone/Ipad support. Good problem solving skills. Strong Communication skills Strong Customer Service orientation Ability to learn new technologies
Helpdesk 1st Line Technical Support
Salary range: Permanent - £20,000 p.a. - £23,000 p.a. + benefits
Location: Central London
Based in Central London our Client, a small company growing through an increased workload, are looking to recruit a 1st line Helpdesk support person
to come on board with immediate effect. They are workload. Ideally you have good experience of working in a similar company and you will be customer focused with the ability to pick things up quickly.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate with a good technical knowledge to be involved in a complete IT technical support process.
Reporting to the Managing Director, on-going training and support will be provided to the successful candidate, tasks will include:
Provide a high level of customer care, in a calm and confident manner.
Support of networked and stand alone PCs and Servers.
Support of associated PC equipment printers etc.
Installation of computer software and hardware Supporting PC users.
The successful candidate will work alongside the Senior Consultant and other team members initially before having the opportunity to undertake tasks alone.
Appearance must be clean and well dressed
Hours typically 9.00am 6.00pm, Mon Fri with occasional weekend and evening work (flexibility will be required and expected). Occasional overseas travel may also be required.
Essential requirements:
Good spoken & written English.
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Willing to learn PC Hardware and Microsoft software literacy
Knowledge of IT support functions, ideally in a first line role
Confident patient team player, though able to work independently as required.
Desirable attributes:
Previous experience in a similar role or environment will be an advantage

Trading Systems Analyst
Salary range: Permanent - £32,000-£36,000 p.a. + benefits

Our clients are a leading Energy Trading company, who are actively seeking a Trading Systems Analyst to join an
existing team providing support to all departments in the business. You will report to the Trading Systems Manager. The position is located in London, on the trading floor.
JOB DIMENSIONS:
• Coordinate between advanced support provided by the Paris Maintenance team and the business users
• Coordinate between business, developers and IT to gather requirements and act to drive appropriate change
• Participate in various projects.
ACTIVITIES:
• Support users in their day to day operations
• Understand why errors occur, find ways to work around them until they are corrected, write bug reports
• Create and write functional specifications for development requests
• Coordinate business operations and development team; participate in planning and iteration reviews.
• Ensure that software user documentation is up to date and accurate.
• Run the user acceptance tests
• Guarantee a smooth migration process for the users.
• Implement the Quality Control Procedure for the project to ensure compliance of the delivered software with the users’ specifications

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

QUALIFICATIONS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
• University educated to at least master’s level in an engineering field (Or equivilant).
• Fluent in English some French
• Some understanding of commodity trading, financial mathematics model understanding.
• Solid IT background with previous work based experience of software development in a complex environment.
• This position requires autonomy, discipline, to be resourceful and well organised. Be proactive, and have good ability to convince, IT skills and interest essential.
• Ability to work under pressure in a demanding environment.
