Candidates pre-registered with Insight have been thoroughly interviewed by experienced recruiters who have a genuine understanding of technical issues & processes. Aftercare Services – Once your recruitment campaign has been successfully completed, we continue to work with you and your ‘newest asset’, providing the all-important feedback during the first months of the new placement.
We understand that ‘a placement’ whether Temporary, Contract or Permanent is just the beginning of your relationship with your new worker/employee and as such, Insight schedule aftercare calls with you for the first 6 months of all new employee’s placed.
Reference checking – Insight can offer a comprehensive range of reference checks for your new Permanent, Contract or Temporary employee. Our ‘Standard Referencing Service’ includes checks with all previous employers which are initially sought by telephone and then in writing.

Verify a candidate has attended their stated educational establishments, confirms their dates of attendance, the courses or classes they studied, and even the grades obtained, making it useful for industries where qualifications like maths or science are compulsory.
Employment checks from £19.00
Run through a background history of the candidate’s previous jobs and roles, and lists the dates they held those jobs for, while any gaps in unemployment or even self-employment, will be highlighted using our Occupational History Reference.
Professional Technical Membership Check from £10.00
Can help to verify claims of any memberships of technical or professional bodies on an application that are potentially required for the role in hand.
Criminal Record & Identity from £47.00
Full criminal record checking is registered with the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) – formerly known as Criminal Records Bureau (CRB) – and Disclosure Scotland.
Basic Disclosure from £40.00
A Basic Disclosure will contain details of any unspent conditions a candidate might have, allowing you to make a decision as to whether or not the candidate poses any potential risks.
Standard Check from £51.00
Whilst Basic Disclosures will only list unspent convictions, a Standard DBS Check will also list spent convictions. They therefore allow you to make a more informed decision as to whether the candidate poses any potential risks.
Enhanced check from £61.00
An Enhanced DBS Check includes a consultation of the new lists of individuals considered unsuitable to work with children and vulnerable adults. The police will also check for any additional information held in their files that might be relevant to the position being applied for.
Identity & Adverse Financial history checks from £9.50
We collate information from the most trust worthy databases, including the electoral role, and can provide identity authentication for UK residents, the UK’s largest consumer databases to run adverse financial checks on specific individuals, highlighting any discrepancies or gaps in a potential employees’ financial history. Our checks will give you peace of mind, while protecting your business’ reputation, finances and confidential data.
Proof of Eligibility and Right to Work
Contractor will ensure that the candidate’s ID has been checked and that they have the appropriate eligibility to work in the UK. Contractor will comply with the Immigration and Nationality Act 2006 as amended from time to time and other relevant UK legislation as well as any regulations regarding the reporting of labour movements, concealed employments and the employment of foreign workers.
